Hello everyone!

The 2014 Executive MBA Council (EMBAC) Student Exit Benchmarking Survey results are in and this year’s graduates saw their average salary and bonus package increase 16.8% to $181,965 from $159,963 at the start of the program. Considering it can be difficult to increase your salary once you rise to a very high level and employers pay the program fees in most cases, we think this is definitely an impressive demonstration of value for the degree.

My employer has offered to pay for my EMBA. I have to commit for a number of years after and I think this is common. This sponsorship makes the one year bump all the more impressive.

There is always a trade off when an employer pays but I feel like it shows they want to promote you and keep you for the long haul.
