The Jamestown Sun has a nice article explaining how North Dakota is planning to grow the number of residencies to overcome a federal funding cap and ensure a more adequate number of physicians to meet the state’s needs. The article also explains how many doctors will end up practicing in the state where they completed their residency. We are personally excited to see some growth in residencies and hope this helps alleviate some of the anticipated “crunch” from the growth in medical school seats.

Best of luck with your applications!

    Sincerely,
