I’m 27 and I graduated 5 years ago with a bachelor’s in Int. business. However, I’m looking for a career change. My dream is to become a doctor. Unfortunately, I was more immature then than I am now and did not take my grades seriously and graduated with a 2.5 gpa
Even if I ace some pre-req courses I probably couldn’t raise my gpa enough to be competetive for admission to med school. Is there anything I can do to get around this. Are there possibly any programs that offer amnesty for my previous gpa where I can start with a fresh start? Are there any other options? If not, what other graduate medical programs might I be able to get into?

Hi dav25 and welcome to Admissions Boards!

First of all, I don’t recommend attending a Caribbean school. You should consider looking into post bacc programs.

    Best of luck!
