    Hi,
I have two more years in my undergraduate degree in French.
I will be taking the necessary courses for med school during the
next two years. During that time, I’ll also be studying for the MCAT on breaks and holidays.
I have a low gpa overall but I want to bring it up by retaking some classes that I was given a B or less in order to do so. I know the “retakes” will be on my transcript. What I don’t
know is if I should go ahead and retake them or just leave them
as they are. I want the best chance to be accepted into med school
even if it means showing the repeated transcript. Would it show that I won’t settle for a B/C and try again? Or would I be wasting my time?

Hi Alexandre and welcome to Admissions Boards!

My thought is to retake the classes, but you might want to post this on the Ask AdmissionsConsultants thread for a more informed answer.

    Best of luck!
