I have an extremely low GPA for my undergraduate studies, 2.6. I want to do everything I possibly can to get into medical school. I am willing to do a masters or post-bacc programs. The problem is that most of these post-baccs require a minimum of a 3.2 GPA. Does anyone know more about these programs and whether they will immediately reject me because of my low GPA? What other options do people such as myself have when I cannot do anything to change my GPA, if these post baccs don’t take me? Please help!

My best advice is to NOT rush trying to get to med school but take more courses in order to help your GPA (make sure to only take the 300 and 400 levels courses). Of course, if you score really high on the MCAT, it may not be so important.
