    Admissions Consultants:
I am a NY resident and I am pursuing a dual major in Chemistry B.A. and Economics B.A. at Brooklyn College. My overall GPA is a 3.896, my Chemistry gpa is 3.919 and my Economics gpa is a 4.0.

I have shadowed a surgery team for a summer 320 hrs, volunteered tutoring chemistry and math to high school students for a semester and elementary school students for a semester and have volunteered in a primary care clinic for two semesters. In addition, I am currently participating in research in a chemistry lab.

I have taken the MCAT twice and my scores were as follows:
    9/4/09 PS 11 V 9 BS 8 28Q
    1/29/10 PS 8 V 9 BS 11 28Q

I would like to know how these two MCAT scores are reviewed by the Admissions Committee. I am not sure if I should retake the mcat for a third time In late July/early August or apply with this. I really feel that my MCAT score is a liability but I don’t know what course of action to take.
    Thank you very much.[:(]
