At what point would you pull a child home form college out of state?
He tells us engineering is very tough though he enjoys living in his fraternity too!!!! The rest goes without saying. He has a 2.35 now after 3 semesters and has dropped a class each semester only to re take over the summer at home. He wants to stay at school and not come back to our state school. Advice? How long does it take to grow up?????!!!!!!

honestly i think you should talk to your child and disccuss with him why his grades are so low, the price and,the struggles you have to make in order to pay for his out of state admission. tell him that in order for him to stay in that school he has to get his grades up or you can make some other compromise. if he is genuinly trys to do his best but still has difficulties research ways in which he will be able to change his residency to the state in which his school is located that way you pay in state fees. if that does not work well … the choice is yours on when to stop supporting him or bring him home.
