The Actors Studio signed a 10-year agreement with Pace University on March 13 to establish a master’s degree program in acting, playwriting, and directing.
The Actors Studio and Pace plan to begin the program this fall with 60 students, and to expand enrollment to 180 or more students by 2009. Classes will meet at Pace’s downtown Manhattan campus.
Most students are expected to complete their degree work in three years.
