Hi, I’m a 2nd-year grad student of California Institute of technology with a master degree in applied physics. I’m now working on my Ph.D. in Electrical engineering. My advisor and I both agree that I should try to get a combined MD program since my research is mostly applied to clinical imaging.
However, I’m from China with no green card, so I’m truely an international student, although I have been in USA for 2 years. I wonder if it’s ever possible to be accepted by a med school in Los Angeles county. What I know in this area is UCLA and USC med schools, but I’m afraid they both have zero international in student body.
I would like to get some ideas and valuable advice from you.
