Does anyone know if the amount of courses taken per quarter is a factor in medical admission? I have only managed to find details regarding GPA and considerations of “harder” vs “easier” classes.
My scenario is that I am taking the MCAT this April and so decided to take only 2 classes this quarter to focus more on preparing for it.
Also, is it okay to take premed required courses such as biochem after you apply to schools during your senior year?
I hope this does not set me back in any way. I still graduate in within the proper schedule.
