    Hello everyone!

Yesterday Reuters published an article that took an in-depth look at cheating for the ACT’s Global Assessment Certificate. It appears to be well written and well researched.

We have all known there is certainly a problem with rampant cheating on these standardized tests and hopefully this article helps focus attention on a problem in desperate need of attention. Given the large number of very smart, talented and wealthy international applicants, we also don’t see any immediate impact on the admission numbers for international applicants anytime soon. Instead, we predict nothing more than an emphasis shift to a different type of standardized test.

Best of luck with your applications!

    Hello everyone!

Just a quick update that the widespread cheating has not yet run its course. The Iowa City-Press Citizen is reporting Iowa universities are investigating this story and looking to the ACT for answers and reassurance about those they have admitted already as well as those whose applications they will be reviewing this fall.

Stay tuned everyone. We think this is far from over!

Best of luck with your applications!

    Sincerely,
