    Hello everyone!

WTSP has a nice article explaining some of the reasons millenials are increasingly choosing to become PAs over MDs or DOs. The article mostly focuses on Delaware (even though WTSP is a TV station for the Tampa/St Pete area of Florida), but it still has some applicability to the national trends.

The article, linked above, cites typical reasons the PA is an enticing option such as shorter education, more time for families and similar responsibilities. Given the enormous commitment of the MD and DO degrees, we do encourage all of our applicants to at least consider the PA. (The last thing you should want is to later have regret and feel you were being forced down the MD/DO path!)

Best of luck with your applications!

    Sincerely,
