Wharton has reduced its foreign language requirement for incoming undergraduates from four semesters to two semesters, starting this fall. Other curriculum changes are being made as well, but this is certainly stirring the most controversy by far. Wharton has described this as a way of allowing students the opportunity to take more in-depth business or leadership courses.
What do you think? Is the tradeoff of more business classes for fewer foreign language classes worth it in educating future leaders?
Best of luck with your applications!
