The University of Massachusetts Law School received full ABA accreditation in its sixth year. With this accomplishment, Massachusetts’ first, and only, public law school appears to be on good footing to further ramp up its recruiting and fundraising efforts.
FYI, this accreditation didn’t come cheap. Back in 2012, the university disclosed it had already spent $15 million to secure provisional accreditation. So, needless to say, the university likely still faces an uphill battle to recoup its full investment in the law school.
