The Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego has been placed on probation by the ABA for concerns about both finances and bar passage rates. The ABA has given Thomas Jefferson until February 16, 2018 to submit a plan detailing how it will come back into full compliance with the ABA accreditation standards. (A fact finder representing the accreditor is then expected to visit the law school the following month.)
Thomas Jefferson dean Joan Bullock stated, “We have been and will continue to take the steps necessary to demonstrate full compliance with all ABA standards so that the law school can continue its longstanding tradition of educating and empowering our next generation of legal professionals.”
Best of luck with your applications!
