    Hello everyone!

The College Board released some specifications and draft questions for the new version of the SAT set to debut in 2016. (Click here to see them.) The biggest substantive differences appear to be a move away from obscure vocabulary words and restructuring the math section to emphasize skills such as problem solving and modeling.

If you like these changes be sure to thank the ACT test.

Agreed Yeahright. The changes are only coming because of competitive pressure from the ACT. Hopefully these tests will both be obsolete within a decade as more schools go test optional for admissions.

As long as the math doesn’t become like the common core I think we’ll all be OK.
