The Council of Graduate Schools found that international graduate school enrollment has been dipping for the past two years though it still remains among the highest in the world. First of all, the timing of this certainly seems to indicate it predates the country’s leadership change. We believe the main driver is increased competition from other countries and the emergence of MOOCs. China and India remain the two biggest sources of international students and account for 68% of the total international graduate applications received by the surveyed schools.
Best of luck with your applications!
