    Hello everyone!

The Urban Institute released a new report earlier today that graduate school price increases have slowed down in recent years. Tuition and fees for in-state graduate students at public universities increased by 33% between 1999 and 2004 compared to a more modest 15% increase for the same students at the same universities between 2009 and 2014. (The rate of tuition growth was actually 37% between 1989 and 1994!)

The study linked above noted that fees actually decreased at for-profit schools, but we still believe that, on average, they are very high for the quality of education offered and we believe competitive reasons and access to better information about quality has forced many of these institutions to lower their fees to fill their classrooms.

Best of luck with your applications!

    Sincerely,
