A graduate of the Ivey Business School at UWO wrote an MBA diary for The Globe and Mail about her experience as part of her school’s Leader Project to travel abroad and help teach budding entrepreneurs some of what she learned during her 1-year MBA program.
In addition to cultural enrichment, she articulates the commonly-felt belief that teaching enhances learning and how the experience helped reinforce what she had learned at Ivey. It’s a short read and we strongly recommend this diary to anyone who is contemplating an MBA as it can be a great capstone experience to your business school education.
Best of luck with your applications!

I agree these programs are helpful. Unless you have worked overseas, you don’t really know what these programs can do for your development.
