In case you hadn’t heard yet, the Canadian medical schools will be receiving their own accreditation. (Click here to read the full memorandum of understanding.)
Up to now, the Canadian schools didn’t have much choice but to go along with whatever the US-based LCME decreed. The new “made in Canada” standards are to be drafted by this June.
