hi, I have a BS in medical lab technology. I want to apply for PhD in microbiology to albert einstein Univ, Mount Sinai, Stony brook, Buffalo or Rochester. My GRE score is 153/149/3.5, GPA 3.4. Do I have a chance of getting in or I am crazy for applying?? I would appreciate if i can get some helpful advice!! thank you

Hi Julie and welcome to Admissions Boards!

What are the average scores for PhD matriculants at those schools? If you are too far below, I would think it is probably going to be a real struggle. If you want a more expert answer, I recommend reposting this to the Ask AdmissionsConsultants thread. Be sure to click “Reply to Topic” and not “New Topic.”

    Best of luck!
