I’m a sophomore at University of Michigan. My GPA is just over 3.8. I’m thinking about attending a masters level law program at Oxford. I think it would be fascinating and very enriching to study there. I would plan to come back to the US afterward, so what I learned about UK law probably wouldn’t do my career that much good afterward. Do you think this is a complete waste of time and money?
Hi and welcome to Admissions Boards!
No. It’s not preposterous at all. It’s your education and your future and if you want to study UK law, that’s your prerogative.
Best of luck!
Thanks for the reassurance!
Does a bear dump in the woods?
Of course theres nothing wrong with this. You want to do it and you can afford to and it’s not illegal, so go for it and who cares what anyone else thinks.
