    Hello everyone!

I don’t want this post to get anyone’s hopes up that other schools will quickly follow suit, but elite Canadian medical school McGill has seen its application volume soar over 50% after dropping the MCAT test requirement. The school claims that the quality of the applicant pool has remained very high.

Again, we agree it would be great if the schools dropped the MCAT requirement, but it would be a surprise (albeit a pleasant one) if any US schools followed suit in the next year or two.

Best of luck with your applications!
