If a candidate has a regular MBA program and around 2-3 years of post-MBA experience, how advisable is it to go for another 1-year MBA from a top rung B School like INSEAD, Kellogg…??
Am thinking on these lines, so wud request you to advise me on this.
My profile is:
Indian
MBA from IIM (Indian Institute of Management) – Class of ’05
Majored in Operations and Marketing
Prior degree: Bachelors in Computer Science Engineering
Currently in Consulting with an MNC Consulting Firm
Plans for a second MBA in 2008 (e.g. Sep’08 intake @ INSEAD)
Reason for second MBA:
1. Majoring in Finance & Strategy
2. An international career (yeah, IIMs still lag behind in that)
3. Might consider a career shift… from consulting to investment banking
